Email from Hope in Texas:

Hello - she is just wonderful!  the nick name of Chin (because of herwhite chin) seems to have stuck - funny though, it means Cat in Japaneeze - we did receive the e-mails and they are great - thanks.  She is so sweet and is doing surprisingly well with potty training.  I hope everything is well with you and your family - please keep in touch.  Remember to give us a call when you have a litter of English Bulldog pups.  Thanks again for everything!

Another Email from Hope in Texas:
Prior to adding a puppy to our family, we did a lot of research.  We wanted to make sure that the pet we chose was as right for us, as we were for it.  We needed low maintenance, friendly, intelligent, sturdy, compact and calm.  When we learned about the French Bulldog, we knew that was the one for us.  No long hair to keep up with - a Poodle or Pomeranian wasn’t for us - trips to the groomers and daily brushing was not even an option.  Frenchies are bread to be companion dogs - we don’t need guarding.  Easy to train with positive re-enforcement.  Body mass that stands up to two young boys. Small enough to sit in your lap after a long day at the office.  And yes, calm - no Terriers or Chihuahuas for this family.  Those two small boys take enough time and energy, we just don’t have that much left over. The research didn’t stop there.  Knowing what kind of dog you want is the first step, but making sure you get a quality puppy is even more important.  It was important to us that our puppy had a good healthy start and was treated like a pet from the very beginning.  We wanted to make sure that the parents were well cared for and healthy. Joe and Michelle have a license which permits a state representative to show up at any given time and inspect their puppies and home - many home daycare providers don’t have as much accountability. Their puppies are members of their family up until they join a new family.  The puppies are well socialized and accustomed to children, thanks to Joe and Michelle’s crew of 5.   We didn’t know the Esteps until we acquired our black and white female, who we have named Chin (as we fell in love with all of the available puppies we saw, we kept going back to the cute little black one with the white chin - thus our four year old made the name stick).  As many questions as I had for them, it seemed they had almost as many for me.  They cared enough to want to know where one of their babies was going and to make sure she was going to be well cared for.  I have kept in touch with Michelle and Joe, sharing photos, asking questions and giving progress reports. If you are in the market for a puppy, these are the people to talk to.  Watch out though - everywhere we go, Chin draws a crowd and people just love her.  The best testimony anyone can give is a recommendation.  And boy do they deserve one.  We love our pet and have recommended The Esteps and their Frenchies to everyone that falls in love with Chin.

A special thank you to Michelle and Joe from our entire family.

Email from Carmen:
Hey Michelle, you’ll be happy to know that Zoey is doing very well, she eats good, sleeps good and has the greatest little personality..she’s not afraid of ANYTHING! Tyson thinks she’s the strangest thing he has ever seen…she jumps to try and reach his ears, it’s hysterical.  You’ll also be happy to know that we took her to the vet today and they were very impressed with her, he said she looked very good and everything checked out, they even took her from us and were showing her around the office…said it was one of the best looking french bulldog pups they’ve ever seen…so kuddos! I’m sending you some pics of the baby girl…she’s soooooooooooooooooo cute =) Thanks a lot again for everything! Carmen Casas

Our puppy has really become a member of the family over the last
2 weeks.  We all adore him!!  We named him “Louie Louie” ( like in
the song
by the Kingsmen).  I took him back to the vet Thursday for his next booster
shot, and he weighed just over 4 pounds.  Everyone who meets him falls in
love with that precious little face.  Thanks again for our new family
member!

Thank you so much for our wonderful dog!!! He is so cute.
We took him to the vet and he checked out great. They said he is a healthy, healthy dog!!!! We love him so much.  He is so playful.  He thinks he is a big dog though, and loves to play with our full grown italian greyhound.  They play good together.  It’s pretty funny watching them.  I think he will make a great show dog, he is so handsome.

Sincerely,

Chris and Brandy from Choctaw, OK
